The Aquarian Difference

Find the sound
you hear in
your head.

Your sound starts with how the head fits, tunes and responds. Aquarian brings collar design, hoop construction, film and finish together to help you shape the sound of your drums.

01 / The fit

A good sound
starts with
a good fit.

The head and the drum should work together. Aquarian’s Sound Curve collar lets the bearing edge find its place along the curve, helping the head seat on the drum.

Designed for easier seating and tuning, so you can spend more time shaping your sound.

02 / The hold

Secure at the edge.
Responsive under
your sticks.

The hoop does more than frame the head. Aquarian combines an extruded, welded hoop with proprietary resin and locking geometry designed to hold the film securely.

A secure foundation supports consistent tuning and responsive playing.

Look closer at the construction
  1. A path for the resin. Holes in the film’s formed channel allow resin to flow into the locking channel.
  2. A mechanical hold. Inward T-ribs help retain the resin and head assembly.
  3. A defined collar height. The locking shoulder acts as a stop during construction.
